LAND O’LAKES — Pasco County government will host two meetings to discuss options regarding the sinkhole site on Ocean Pines Drive in Land O’Lakes. The meetings will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 4 and at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Land O’Lakes Community Center, 5401 Land O’Lakes Blvd.

Pasco County public safety and public infrastructure staffers will present options for the site, based on feedback from the Pasco County Commission, University of South Florida geologists and the Pasco County engineering staff.

Lake Padgett Estates residents and other county residents are encouraged to attend one of the meetings and provide input. Information gathered from the meetings will be considered as the County Commission makes a final decision on how to proceed with long-term recovery efforts at the site of the sinkhole, which swallowed two homes and left seven houses condemned in July.
